
TRANSACT 15, the one place where the global payments and transactions ecosystem come together, is going to be a huge success for Bitcoin as the organizers have announced that they are introducing new digital currency features. According to them it includes the centerpiece World of Bitcoin exhibit showcase.
The press release says that the attendees will be able to see the features of digital currency at TRANSACT 15, an event that is being considered the payments industry’s largest and most important event. Nonetheless, ETA also announced a partnership with exhibitor BitPay that makes ETA the first trade association to accept Bitcoin payments.
Now, BitPay will help it accept Bitcoin payments for trade show exhibition and sponsorship, association membership, and professional development programs. Nonetheless, TRANSACT 15 will take place March 31 – April 2 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and registration is open today with limited early rates available at www.transact15.com.
Talking to media professionals Jason Oxman, CEO of ETA said that the organization is at the forefront of payments technology, and TRANSACT 15 is the industry’s most important event. He added that with the launch of the World of Bitcoin showcase, and the partnership with BitPay to accept Bitcoin payments, TRANSACT 15 is now the place to be for digital currency in 2015.
Similar views were shared by Tony Gallippi, Co-Founder, Executive Chairman, BitPay who said that his company is working with ETA to increase Bitcoin acceptance and raise awareness about cryptocurrency via its exhibit booth at TRANSACT 15. The event is extremely popular among the companies involved in payment technology.
Increasing Popularity of Bitcoin as Payment Option
He admitted that TRANSACT 15 will be a great arena for Bitcoin companies to showcase their new products and services while connecting with leaders within the payments industry. According to the event organizers the world’s largest payments technology trade association, ETA’s more than 550 member companies include Bitcoin companies BitPay and Circle.
There are lots of issues that are going to be dealt with at the occasion. For instance, in addition, ETA’s Digital Currency Working Group addresses business issues related to digital currency, and ETA’s Digital Currency Day in Washington D.C. it is going to attract more than 100 government and industry attendees to discuss Bitcoin policy issues.
Nonetheless, TRANSACT’s global reach brings together, under one roof, the entire payments ecosystem i.e. from the major mobile network operators and equipment manufacturers to online service providers, retailers, major processors, all are going to be part of it.
