Today the San Francisco-based exchange announced it will be soon launching a new site design. Kraken team aims to improve the old design with a cleaner look and simpler layout. Only the exterior of the site will change, so users will still have the same familiar Kraken trading interface once they login. The exchange pairs also have a new maker-taker structure with reduced overall fees. Note that the fees for the dark pool have also changed but do not follow a maker-taker model, since the maker-taker model is only advantageous when you can view the order book.
Recently, the exchange once again praised the customer and reduced its trading fees and added new professional features such as margin trading. For the bitcoin-fiat pairs, the maker fee goes as low as 0% and up to 0.16% depending on the amount you trade. The taker fee goes as low as 0.10% and up to 0.26% depending on the amount the user trades.
The Bitcoin exchange will also be releasing the Ethereum Trading Pair in a couple of days. Ether (ETH) is the Ethereum project token currency; ethers are the coins that fuel the Ethereum network, which is a decentralized platform for running smart contracts and other applications. users can already place orders to buy Ether with bitcoin or any fiat currency the exchange supports: ETH/XBT, ETH/EUR, ETH/USD, ETH/CAD, ETH/GBP, or ETH/JPY.
The company is always rated on the top of the digital currency exchange ecosystem and hope the meet the customers’ demands with the new and improved design.
