OmiseGo Keeps Community On Pins And Needles

Often times, popular television programs will use high-stakes cliff hangers to keep viewers on the edge of their seats, eager to tune in next time to find out what awaits their beloved characters. It is a concept that OmiseGo must be familiar with; recent news of meetings with Ethereum founders Dr. Gavin Wood and Vitalik Buterin, in addition to meetings with officials at the Central Bank of Thailand wherein the future of the Thai economy was discussed, have left the community buzzing with the possible ramifications of these developments.

OmiseGo has announced the meetings via social media site Twitter, as can be seen below:

OmiseGo has yet to divulge any specifics of how everything transpired (ETHNews reached out to OmiseGo, but did not receive a response prior to publication). The same can be said of an announcement by the company that was released days before about the distribution of OMG tokens via an airdrop. The disbursement details remain dubious at best. OmiseGo also recently announced that its foundational protocol has been revealed with Buterin and Joseph Poon’s Plasma – perhaps the first application to play nice with the scaling solution.

The Ethereum community cannot help but wait with baited breath while OmiseGo makes big moves in the pool, minus the waves of information which generally follow. ETHNews will continue to provide up-to-date coverage of these developments as they occur.
