The cryptocurrency market has resumed its ascent after slipping yesterday. The total cryptocurrency market has gone up by $4 billion, rising from $213 billion to $217 billion. The crypto market continues to rise despite the recent China ban.
The daily trading volume has also gone up slightly, rising from $9 billion yesterday to now stand at $10 billion.
Bitcoin price analysis
The Bitcoin price has gone up by less than 1% over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $6,670 yesterday but has gone up to $6,727 over the past few hours. Bitcoin dominance still stands above the 50% mark.
The 24-hour trading volume of BTC has gone up by $300 million. BTC’s daily trading volume yesterday was $3.1 billion but has now gone up to $3.4 billion.
A look at Bitcoin’s weekly chart shows that BTC has gained 3.7% over the past seven days. It was trading at $6.473 a week ago but has since then gone up, reaching a weekly high above the $6,800 mark.
Ethereum price analysis
The Ethereum price has gone up again but has failed to break past the $300 mark again. ETH has gained 1% over the past 24 hours, rising from $273 yesterday to now trade at $277 per coin.
There are expectations that ETH will soon break past that psychological mark.
The daily trading volume meanwhile has surged a little, rising from $1.1 billion to now stand at $1.2 billion.
Ethereum’s weekly chart shows that the currency has lost 3.4% of its value over the past seven days. ETH was trading at $290 yesterday but has since then dropped to currently trade at $277.
Ripple price analysis
The payment cryptocurrency has been in the news lately with the executives talking it up a lot. Ripple is now approaching the $0.33 mark after trading at the $0.32 mark over the past few days. It has gained 1.8% over the past few hours to now trade at $0.329.
The 24-hour trading volume has risen again after dropping yesterday. XRP trading volume has gone up to $188 million, from $157 million yesterday.
Over the past one week, XRP has witnessed a haphazard trading pattern. It has been trading between $0.31 and $0.35 over the past seven days. It has however stabilized at $0.32 over the past five days.
Amongst the leading cryptocurrencies, EOS was the biggest winner over the past few hours. The fifth largest cryptocurrency has gone up by nearly 5% over the past 24 hours. EOS was trading at $4.91 yesterday but has now gone up to reach $5.14.
The daily trading volume has risen from $345 million $443 million. Over the past one week, EOS has recorded gains, rising from $5.08 to now trade at $5.14. It, however, dropped below the $5 mark during the week.
Litecoin price analysis
Just like Ethereum, Litecoin continues to struggle to surpass the $60 mark. LTC was trading at $56 yesterday but has now gone up to trade at $57 after recording 1.5% over the past few hours.
Despite the price increase, LTC’s daily trading volume has dropped from $211 million to now stand at $200 million.
Over the past one week, LTC was trading between $56 to $58, with no significant rise or decrease in price.
