VC investor in the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken and host of the Keiser Report on tv channel RT, Max Keiser, predicts that Bitcoin will be the next global reserve currency.

'Soon, there will be a new global reserve currency and it won’t be the U.S. dollar, the euro or any other fiat', Keiser said.

According to Keiser, BTC offers certain characteristics never before seen in any previous fiat currency, and this is what will drive BTC to become the global reserve currency across the globe.

'Among BTC’s traits, are the fact that it can produce a new block about every 10 minutes and its cap of 21 million coins. These allow BTC to be more stable and lead to a predictable monetary policy that is based strictly on mathematics, not on the whimsical antics of a state government or individual', he said.

'That emission schedule of coins coming on every ten minutes makes bitcoin the central bank of the world with the most rock-solid monetary policy there is.'

Keiser adds that, as people look for a new world reserve currency, they will begin to flock to BTC and the crypto space.

As Chepicap previously reported, there are a good number of crypto experts which believe without a shadow of a doubt that one day, the world's number one cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, will eventually overthrow traditional fiat currencies as the prominent medium of exchange in the world.

One of them being Venture Capitalist investor and billionaire Bitcoin bull Tim Draper, who is convinced that as the cryptocurrency universe keeps on expanding, fiat currency circulation will fall and be replaced by cryptocurrencies.

Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey is as well one of these prominent figures, who believe that Bitcoin will ultimately emerge as the world’s single currency and will replace all other fiat money.

'The world ultimately will have a single currency, the internet will have a single currency. I personally believe that it will be bitcoin', Dorsey said. 'It will happen probably over ten years, but it could go faster.'
