Enjin will work closely with the Tokyo-based accelerator to expand into Japan's cryptocurrency and gaming spaces and foster blockchain adoption among developers in the world's third-largest games market.

07 August 2019, SINGAPORE — Leading blockchain ecosystem developer Enjin has announced a strategic partnership with Tokyo-based accelerator HashPort, a move that will provide Enjin with an official introduction into the Japanese market.

HashPort will serve as a business liaison and provide localization support to Enjin, including cryptocurrency exchange listing support and business matching with Japanese companies. With the shared goal of promoting adoption of blockchain technology and the Enjin ecosystem in Japan, the two companies will work closely to deploy Enjin’s blockchain products and services and reach developers in the world's third-largest games market.

"It is a great honor to support Enjin as the first project in HashPort Accelerator," said HashPort Accelerator Founder Seihaku Yoshida. "We are excited to work with the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem developer on their entry into Japan. We believe Enjin’s success in Japan will accelerate not only the growth of Enjin in the global market, but also the development of the Japanese blockchain game industry as a whole."

Enjin has had a very productive year in the blockchain space, having launched the Testnet version of their blockchain game development platform, which has already attracted more than 7,000 users. The Ethereum-based development team also recently made waves as its ERC-1155 token standard was officially adopted by the Ethereum community. The team is now working to launch the Enjin Platform to Ethereum Mainnet, which will enable the world's 26 million software developers to use Enjin Coin (ENJ) to mint and integrate ERC-1155 tokens into their games, apps, websites, and more.

“The HashPort team has a great track record of introducing and popularizing high-potential projects to Japanese markets," said Maxim Blagov, Enjin CEO. "It's an honor to work with them in bringing Enjin to Japan, where blockchain is proving to be a powerful force for social development and the games market, which, with 67 million players, is home to some of the most innovative and forward-thinking developers in the world.”

Enjin offers an ecosystem of integrated blockchain products that enable developers to create, manage, and integrate blockchain assets into their games with ease. Fueled by Enjin Coin (ENJ), a utility token used to back the value of Enjin-powered blockchain assets, the Enjin ecosystem enables developers to utilize tokenized digital assets as part of their acquisition, retention, engagement, and monetization strategies.

Every ERC-1155 asset minted with Enjin's blockchain development platform is backed by ENJ, which acts as a certificate of authenticity and reserve value. To date, over 66 million ERC-1155 assets containing ENJ have already been minted, resulting in 1% of the total ENJ supply being locked up in digital assets.

About Enjin

In 2009, Enjin launched the Enjin Network, a gaming community platform which boasts over 20 million users. In 2017 following a successful ICO that raised $18.9 million, Enjin began building a suite of blockchain products that enable anyone to easily create, manage, trade, store, explore, distribute, and integrate blockchain assets.

Comprised of the Enjin Platform, Explorer, Wallet, Beam, and other tools and services, Enjin’s tools enable game developers and studios to utilize tokenized digital assets as part of their acquisition, retention, engagement, and monetization strategies. The Enjin ecosystem is fueled by Enjin Coin (ENJ), an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency used to directly back the value of Enjin-powered blockchain assets. For more information, visit
