Satoshi Nakamoto was the man behind Bitcoin. His personal identity has remained secret for over a decade. Some believe that an entire group of tech-experts used the pseudonym. However, a newly published article claims the famed visionary will soon be revealing details about himself.

BTC enthusiasts will remember that August 18th was the date back in 2008 when was registered. In fact, “My Reveal- Part 1” will be out on the same day. However, not all folks are convinced by this news.

Let us not forget that Craig Wright aka Fake Satoshi was given a platform by the BBC and other top media organizations to voice his declaration of being the original Nakamoto. Every time he has made a similar claim, numerous blockchain experts [including Vitalik Buterin, Charlie Lee, Changpeng Zhao, and countless others] have called him out.

So far, Wright has been not been able to prove his “disputed” identity. On top of that, he has pending lawsuits against him, including a high-profile case filed by members of Dave Kleiman’s family. You can head to this website: if you wish to know about the alleged reveal of Satoshi.

Personally, I believe that there is a bigger chance of this news being based on a hoax. Nakamoto has 980,000 bitcoins in his personal storage and hasn’t moved a single one of them yet. If you look through this thread on Reddit, you can see the reactions of a few belonging to the Bitcoin community.

Similar tales had plagued the Internet a few months ago, but nothing concrete was established. Scores of people have claimed to be Satoshi, with very less evidence to back it up. Words require proof because after all, verification is paramount to discovery.

If the source holds true to his promise, BTC will definitely receive a major boost. Bitcoin is priced at $10,391 for now. A boost rate of 4.43% was noted in the course of the past 24-hours.
