Bitcoin miner malware

Hello everyone,

I think that I have some bitcoin mining virus on my PC. I've played GTA V and noticed large drop in fps, even though when I played it before I had more frames on higher graphic settings. The fan is periodically louder, and hot in general, even when no games are running. Lastly, when I open up the task manager the CPU usage hops to 100%, and then drops to 3%.

I've tried using Malwarebytes but scanning didn't detect anything.

What should I do? Will system recovery fix the issue? Any other software recommendations?

Thank you in advance.

Specs:

Intel Core i7-8750H

8 GB RAM

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050

Please download and run the following tool

---------------------------------------------------
Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST)

Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system, download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, and that will be the right version.

  • Right-click FRST.exe/FRST64.exe then click "Run as administrator"
  • When the tool opens, click Yes to the disclaimer.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • When finished, it will produce logs called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool was run from.
  • Please copy and paste the logs in your next reply.
