Bitcoin won’t solve existing inequality magically but it gives you the guarantee of a ‘fair’ money system. One that isn’t easily corrupted by those with power. All participants are on equal footing. You don’t win a rigged game by playing it. You win by playing a different game.

  • From jamesob:

Happy to report that I’ll be joining the team at @AvantiBT to help start a bank in Wyoming. This is in line with my own main goal: deepen and fortify Bitcoin markets. Avanti has a good shot at doing that thanks to some new WY legislation and an awesome team.

  • From nebraskangooner:

Last night I had a dream that #bitcoin dumped straight to $2957 but I didn’t buy any because I was waiting for LTC to dip too. LTC only dipped to $32 so none of my bids filled. I went to buy Bitcoin instead and it was already back to $4500 and LTC was back to $45 in minutes

Reject Messages (BIP61) are notifications that a node returns when a transaction it received from a peer is rejected, and why….BIP61 Reject Messages had therefore already been disabled by default in Bitcoin Core 0.18.0. Bitcoin 0.20.0 has now removed the feature completely….Bitcoin Core 0.20.0 has now completely removed the Payment Protocol.
