Polkadot’s parachain auctions are live, but we haven’t seen every last twist yet. Efinity is ready to make its entrance, and we need your help to succeed.

It’s time for Efinity to become a Polkadot parachain.

For those who have waited patiently, and for those who’ve already supported Efinity with your DOT, we thank you!

We’re currently in Batch 1 of Polkadot’s parachain auction process, and we’re starting to see the general shape of how these auctions will shake out. But we haven’t yet seen every last twist (see below).

We’ve been blown away by the staunch community support, and that’s great to see. Batch 1 is highly competitive, and it’s only with your help that Efinity will become a parachain.

Here’s an update on how things are going, one week into Batch 1.

The Magic Starts Soon

For those wondering why they can’t see ever-increasing DOT numbers next to Efinity on the parachain auction page, fear not! This info will come this week.

Naturally there’s been a lot of conversation around the projects people can see the numbers for, the top three currently being Acala, MoonBeam, and Astar.

That’s to be expected, though we’re excited to show our numbers soon and change the conversation. If you figured Efinity was out of the race, don’t worry—there’s still plenty of room in the architecture of the Metaverse, and the water is fine.

As we move from internal alpha and the chain is fully connected to polkadot.js, all the data will become live and visible. You'll soon be able to see details on the official parachain auction page about how much DOT has been crowdloaned to the Efinity project.

Reward Yourself with EFI

Those participating in the crowdloan will be rewarded with EFI, Efinity's native token, if and when it becomes a Polkadot parachain.

Reminder: If you do participate in the crowdloan, it effectively stakes your DOT for 96 weeks.

In the event that Efinity doesn’t get a parachain slot in this first batch of auctions, you’ll simply get your DOT back (and we’ll try again later!).

Voting for Efinity on Exchanges

The list of exchanges you can support Efinity on is growing!

Currently we’re active on:

Additional exchange platforms will follow, and we’ll keep this page updated as it happens.

In the next few days, we’ll also have a full step-by-step guide on how to use your DOT to support Efinity. We’ll update this page with that link as well.

As a reminder, you’ll soon be able to use the official wallet on polkadot.js and vote right through the Enjin Wallet DApp Browser. Head to our crowdloan page for more info!

This is, as they say, a chance to vote with your wallet.

As several companies move toward building their vision of what the Metaverse should be, supporting Efinity is very much a vote for a bottom-up, organic, community-governed, open Metaverse that helps all developers rather than giving one corporation more control.

We hope you choose to support us and tell your friends what Efinity is all about!
