How To Create Bitcoin Paper Wallets - Secure Bitcoin Cold Storage
In this video you will learn step-by-step instructions on how to make paper wallets for your bitcoins to be securely stored offline.
You will need:
- Ideally a laptop that has never been online or never will again. (however the video will show you what to do if only have 1 pc)
- At least 2 USB flash drives.
- A printer (must be able to use USB wire not WiFi)
- A safe place to store your paper bitcoins after the process is complete.
- The ability to turn off your router and/or completely disconnect from the internet.
This procedure is one of the most secure ways to get your bitcoins out of a hot wallet and into cold storage, even if your machine is already compromised.
Things you should learn prior to watching:
- Basics of PGP encryption.
- Use of TAILS OS (although not essential)
- What a HTML and Javascript is (by definition, just so you know the jargon)
