A new bitcoin exchange called Coinmate.io has just been launched in Europe to facilitate cryptocurrency trading. This exchange offers trading of BTC/USD, as well as withdrawals in Euros, Czech Koruna, and the Polish Zloty.
Launched in April 15, Coinmate.io is registered in the United Kingdom and aims to provide quality bitcoin exchange services to the rest of Europe. It claims to offer only 0.2% in trading fees, free deposits, and multiple layers of security to protect consumers.
Bitcoin Exchange Prospects
Experienced traders can be able to access the site’s API for their bitcoin trading needs, making it an attractive option for existing investors in the region. European users in the 34 SEPA countries can deposit Euros in as quick as one business day and these can be converted to U.S. dollars. However, Coinmate.io does not have services available for U.S. citizens.
When it comes to security, the newly-launched bitcoin exchange claims to practice the best security procedures from the financial industry, providing bank grade security SSL encryption and 2-Factor-Authentication on important actions. In addition, Coinmate.io claims to hold over 95% of funds in cold storage in multi-sig wallets.
Traders on the bitcoin exchange can be able to trade bitcoin with instant orders on the platform, allowing users to profit from speculations on price changes. User verification only requires a photo ID and proof of address and can be completed in a single day.
“We have a long experience with financial management and IS/IT development. Security is a top priority for us,” said Roman Valihrach, CEO of Confirmo. “Our sister platform BitcoinPay.com came second last year in the 2014 Starcube.cz Accelerator Program, and with that experience, we set out to make a truly user-friendly exchange for Bitcoin fans across Europe and beyond.”
The bitcoin exchange has taken roughly two years to create and offers bonuses for users that can successfully open an account before the end of May.
