In recent trading action, Bitcoin (BTC.CR) was spotted trading near the $54 mark on volume of 53.

Investors may be wondering to what extent, if at all, they should be focusing on cryptocurrencies. The crypto phenomenon has picked up steam over the past six months, and even those who thought the craze would pass, are now most likely paying closer attention. Many individuals have been quick to label the cryptocurrency market as a bubble or an outright scam. Even though the verdict may still be out on those ideas, the blockchain technology behind bitcoin and many other cryptos seems to be here to stay.
