The key manager, the Torus has been successfully launched in beta version on a decentralized system. This new tool provides a simple authentication method to connect to decentralized applications.

Torus is available to the public

Torus, which is working to develop products adapted to the Web 3, has announced the launch of the beta version of its key management. The new device allows you to connect to decentralized applications in one click with a Google account, Facebook, Reddit, Discord and Twitch. In effect, the Torus combines a Google account with a unique private key and would, therefore, simplify the authentication process with the Dapps (Decentralized Applications).

“Torus has built a product incredibly stylish that connect to a DApp is not different of connecting to Google “, stresses the CEO of Torus.

The Torus is thus among a handful of startups offering authentication solutions simple, in order to gain access to the ecosystem of the Web 3 and of the DApps. Team Blockchain has also launched a series of new tools that allow users to transfer tokens ERC-20 to a Gmail account and an account with Reddit.
Torus also allows users to DApps to retrieve their account from emails traditional (Gmail for example) and social networks (Reddit and Facebook).

A network of partners

In order to ensure better security to the users, the private key held by the Torus are stored on the nodes partners for its decentralized network. Several companies of the first rank, have joined the project to operate a node of the ecosystem, including Binance, Ethereum Name Service (ENS), Etherescan, Natic Network, Ontology and Skale
According to the indications of Zhen Yu Yong, the CEO of Torus, the company continues to expand its network of nodes, and is planning to host at least 10 other relay operators by the end of 2020. In regards to the future plans of the Torus,

“You can expect to see a whole new suite of features that improve the end user experience “, emphasized Zhen Yu Yong.
